When the engine is working, the high-temperature and high-pressure gas burning in the cylinder will enter into the crankcase along the gap between the piston assembly and the cylinder wall. The engine exhaust gas that enters into the crankcase contains some water vapor and sulfur dioxide. The water vapor will emulsify the oil after condensation, while the sulfur dioxide will spoil the oil. Therefore, the engine is equipped with a crankcase ventilation device so that the exhaust gas can be discharged, and the oil-gas separator is installed in the passage of the crankcase ventilation device for oil-mist separation.

The oil-water separator operates in a harsh environment of high temperature and oil-mist contact, so the rubber parts inside the product are susceptible to damage.
