ENGINE VENTILATION

ENGINE VENTILATION

In an internal combustion engine, a crankcase ventilation system removes unwanted gases from the crankcase.

The unwanted gases, called "blow-by", are gases from the combustion chamber which have leaked past the piston rings.

Therefore, high-quality engine ventilation products are very important.

Cylinder Head Cover

Cylinder head covers must perform in a very severe environment of high temperature and oil contact. The critical issue is maintaining a good seal.

  • The housing is made of high-quality plastic. Therefore, the product performance can still be guaranteed within the temperature range of -35°C - 130°C
  • AEM sealing ring, resistant to high temperature and corrosion.
  • All products are strictly tested for tightness before delivery.
Oil Trap, Crankcase Breather

When the automobile engine is operating, the high-temperature and high-pressure gas burned in the cylinder may escape into the crankcase. These exhaust gases contain some water vapor and sulfur dioxide.

After condensation, water vapor will emulsify the engine oil, while sulfur dioxide will deteriorate the oil.

Therefore, the engine is equipped with an oil-gas separator to separate the oil mist in the exhaust gas.

The oil-water separator operates in a harsh environment of high temperature and oil mist contact. For this reason, the rubber parts inside the product are very easy to be damaged.

PCV Valve

The PCV valve is used to direct the exhaust gas in the crankcase to the intake manifold. It is widely used in various vehicles.

The product is usually provided with rubber diaphragms or rubber seals.

The most common problem is the aging of these rubber parts, which makes the product unable to work normally.

BOGAP's PCV valve products have been tested to ensure that their performance is close to the OEM parts.
